Pink Pumpkins are Real and They're Beautiful

We've seen so many stunning ways to decorate porches this fall, from monogram mum displays to galvanized gourds, but this new breed of pumpkin may be the prettiest yet. Farmer Troy Starner and student Dawson Garvick are growing beautiful pink pumpkins on Troy's farm in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, to raise funds for breast cancer foundations, WGAL News reports. They're among a group of 50 farmers across America growing the unique gourds for the Pink Pumpkin Patch foundation this fall.

Six feared dead in small plane crash in Caribbean off coast of Costa Rica

Six people, apparently including the German businessman behind Gold’s Gym, were feared dead on Saturday after a small plane crashed into the Caribbean just off the Costa Rican coast. All five passengers are believed to be German citizens, according to Security Minister Jorge Torres. The plane’s pilot was Swiss. Costa Rican authorities said pieces of the twin-engined turboprop aircraft were found in the water on Saturday, after the flight went missing on Friday.
