Henry County Humane Society – Geneseo, will present a Doggie Easter Egg Hunt 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 20, in Geneseo City Park, according to a news release.
This is a fundraiser for the Henry County Humane Society.

Together with their dogs, people can hunt to find eggs filled with treats, toys, and other various prizes. Eggs will be hidden throughout the south side of the city park.

The park will be split in half so that large dogs will hunt on one side and small dogs will hunt on the other side. The cost is $10 per dog. Participants will check in at the sign-in table under the pavilion to get your bag to hold your Easter eggs.
All dogs must remain on leash at all times. No leash shall exceed six feet and the dog must be under immediate control of the owner at all times. It is preferred participants do not use retractable leashes.
Dogs must be up to date on shots.
Participants must pick up after their dogs. Waste bags will be available. Event organizers ask that no dogs in heat be brought to the event.
“We reserve the right to ask any dog or human not displaying friendly behavior to leave,” the release says. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
