It’s been a decade and a half since Adam Driver joined the movie industry, but the actor has already made multiple breakthroughs by snagging nominations for two Academy Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Tony Award. With fame, comes being able to handle criticism, and looks like Adam Driver couldn’t keep his cool when he was faced with a fan’s opinion.
Adam Driver loses his cool answering fan’s question
The Marriage Story actor recently faced fans in a Q&A at Poland’s Camerimage Film Festival. He talked about his latest film Ferrari directed by Michael Mann. The movie takes place in the summer of 1957 when the ex-racers are facing a crisis. Adam plays the role of Enzo Ferrari who is navigating his career and marriage with his wife Penélope Cruz as they lost their son a year earlier.
While Ferrari has received a pool of impressive reviews, with critics hailing the movie for its excellent portrayal of empathy in all the main characters, Adam Driver had to face a bunch of ‘tough audience’ questions.
One did not mind calling out the celebrity out for a particular scene.
Talking about the crash scene in Ferrari, an audience member called it, “pretty harsh, drastic and cheesy” to which the Hollywood heartthrob did not seem happy with.
Adam responded: “F**k you, I don’t know! Next question.”
Adam was ‘terrified’ of racing cars
While Adam has braved several racing scenes for the flick, the actor was candid about his fear of the role.
Getting behind a vintage racing car can be ‘terrifying’ because newer cars have ‘seatbelts’ shared Adam.
“And you can really feel how dangerous they are obviously, versus a contemporary Ferrari,” Adam confessed while promoting the movie.
